It is important to know and understand the keys to success, by applying these steps to your daily life, you will be able to achieve anything you set forth to accomplish. Everyone wants to succeed, no one wants to fail. Anyone with the drive and determination can reach their goals to be successful.
Here are a dozen ways you will learn how to be successful at whatever you are passionate about:
1. MAKE YOUR PASSION YOUR BUSINESS
Each individual has a passion, a desire/wish, a hobby even, whatever you do best, that’s the first ingredient to success. As you have this great interest in what you love to do, it feels effortless, you then become more motivated by your passion to succeed.
2. TAKE ACTION NOW
Stop talking about what you want to do and just do it now!
This is a big part of the first step to success. It’s quite simply to start, first stop making excuses. If you really want to start doing anything, you will do it. Once you start the process, you will notice that everything is working in alignment with what you are doing.
You must focus on the goal, not on the steps to the goal.
When you focus on every little detail, you will lose sight of the goal.
For example, you have a goal to lose weight, your goal must be specific and clear as to how many pounds you wish to lose, have a deadline. Plan the menu and exercise program. However, do not get caught up with focusing on the menu and exercise program which may create an overwhelming feeling that discourages you to work on your goals. When this happens, you get stuck. Always remember to keep focus on the goal itself.
4. STOP MAKING EXCUSES, BLAMING THE PAST AND INSTALLING DOUBT ON WHY YOU DON’T THINK YOU MAY NOT MAKE IT
It is easy to point the finger and blame it on someone or something based on a past experience. Get the learning from the experience and use it as a power tool to keep moving forward. Do not let it define you. You must first let go of the negative past situation and understand that everything that happens in your life derives from the situation you are in and the choices that you make. Get into the mindset of, “I am solely responsible for the choices that I make which will change my life”. If you understand this, you will be able to let go and move to your goals.
5. HAVE A POSITIVE MINDSET THAT IT IS POSSIBLE
Think, “I can”. It all starts with how you think. You thoughts become your actions, and your actions become reality. Think about it, everything we have, it came from a thought. Be constantly mindful of what you are saying to yourself.
6. PRACTICE GETTING INTO A PEAK STATE DAILY
· Take a couple of deep long breaths and as you breathe in, you breathe gratitude and breathe out a feeling of satisfaction.
· By giving gratitude, you are attracting abundance. Think of your desired goal, imagine what it would feel like when you achieve it. See it clearly. Get into a feeling of abundance and the mindset of being unstoppable to reach the goal.
· Listen to your favorite music, it triggers off an amazing uplifting feeling which gets you in a peak state.
· Giving compliment to someone, or do a kind gesture, also gives you a feeling of self-worth and happiness.
· Think of a time when you fell down laughing, see what you see, feel what you felt and embrace it for a moment. This is a powerful peak state :
7. KNOWING THAT YOU DON’T HAVE THE POWER AND CONTROL OF EVERYTHING AND HOW TO DEAL WITH IT, WHEN YOU DON’T
When a situation arises and you are feeling powerless and wondering what to do next, always ask yourself, “do I have power and control over the situation?”, if the answer is yes, take action on how you can resolve the situation. If the answer is no, you must respect and accept the forces that are stronger than you. The key to remember, it’s only temporary.
8. UTILIZE THE ART OF COMMUNICATION
Communication is the key to understanding and being understood. It is the doorway to influence and persuasion. Learn to listen carefully what others are saying. By looking at a point of view from another perspective, it will enable you to communicate better. Always think rationally and ethically. All successful people use the communication through NLP. This would be a good course to attend, it will help you to easily understand yourself and others at a much higher level and you will be able to masterfully communicate with anyone at any given time.
9. PERCEPTION IS PROJECTION
It’s a concept of how we see the world around us. We all experience things differently. It’s viewed in a particular way based on our beliefs that we hold to be true. The mind of a successful individual holds their perception to see the beauty within and think outside of the box.
10. CREATE AN ABUNDANT MINDSET AND ENVISION THE END RESULT OF THE GOAL
You have to see clearly what it would look like when you accomplish the goal. Be specific, see what you see, feel how it feels like, when you accomplish the goal. Get to a clear picture of the end result at all times.
11. DON’T LET FEAR CONSUME YOU
Most people live within their comfort zone, simply because they are afraid of the unknown. They stay where there is familiarity, and stay connected to it. In order for a change to happen, successful people step out of the box and make the unfamiliar the familiar, which takes them up the road to success.
12. TAKE TIME TO RECHARGE
Everyone needs time for themselves to recharge their energy that is well needed to keep focus on their goals. Do something for yourself that makes you happy and keeps you motivated. Successful people possess a positive mindset and maintain a state of mental fortitude.
